Linked Topics Matrix
The Linked Topics Matrix shows, in one grid, which documents use which shared topics. When you reuse a standalone topic in several documents with Link Existing Topic, editing it changes every document that links to it. The matrix shows you exactly which documents are affected before you make the change.

Open the matrix
In the left sidebar's organization section, open Analytics and select Linked Topics Matrix.
Read the matrix
- Each row is a document. Select a document's name to open it.
- Each column is a shared standalone topic. Select a column header to open the topic.
- A check mark means the document links to that topic. A green check means the link is published. A blue check means it is still a draft.
- Hover over a cell to see its status and languages. Select a cell to open the linked topic inside that document.
The matrix is read-only. To link a topic into a document, open the document and select New > Link Existing Topic. If nothing is linked yet, the matrix is empty.
If you uninstall it
The matrix and its menu entry disappear. Your linked topics are not affected.
