Reader Feedback
Reader Feedback lets the readers of your published topics send you a message and a star rating, and gives your team pages to review and sort what comes in. Use it to learn which topics confuse readers, which are out of date, and which work well.

Choose where readers can send feedback
After you install the addon, turn feedback on for your organization, and adjust it for individual documents if needed:
- For the organization: open Organization Settings > Advanced, and under Feedback, choose Enable feedback.
- For a document: open Document Settings > Advanced, and under Feedback, choose Use organization settings, Enable feedback, or Disable feedback. A document's own choice overrides the organization's.
What readers see
Readers see a Send Feedback link near the topic's updated date. The form asks for a title and a message, and optionally their name, email address, and a rating from one to five stars. Readers complete a captcha before sending.
Review feedback
You can open feedback at different levels:
- Whole organization: Analytics > Feedback in the organization section of the sidebar
- One document: in the document, More actions > Analytics > Feedback, or Insights > Feedback on the document's card in the document list
- One topic: Feedback in the topic's menu in the topic tree
Filter feedback by topic, version, language, and rating, and sort it by most recent, highest rating, or lowest rating. Each entry shows the details the reader gave, plus their browser, operating system, device, and city. Mark feedback as handled with Close feedback, and reopen it with Open feedback.
If you uninstall it
The Send Feedback link disappears for readers everywhere, whatever your feedback settings say. The feedback pages and settings are hidden in the editor. Feedback you have already received is kept and shows again if you install the addon again.
