Copy to Another Document
Copy to Another Document is for reusing a topic's content in a different document as an independent copy, which you can then change without affecting the original.

Copy a topic into a document
Copying a topic from any document into the one you are working on uses Copy Here. It is available on every plan, with or without this addon.
- Open the document you want to copy the topic into.
- Select New, then Copy Here. You can also choose Copy Here from a topic's menu in the topic tree to place the copy at that spot.
- Browse your documents, folders, and topics, and select the topic to copy.
The copy is added to the open document as a separate topic. Changes to the copy don't affect the original, and changes to the original don't affect the copy.
Copy or link?
If you want the same content to appear in several documents and stay identical, link it instead of copying it: select New > Link Existing Topic. A linked topic is edited in one place and updates everywhere it is used. To see which documents link to which shared topics, use the Linked Topics Matrix.
If you uninstall it
Topics you already copied are not affected, and Copy Here stays available.
